Lo (tte) + Xa(nder) + Be(nja) = LOXABE

I’ve spent 25 years as a psychologist watching the same patterns repeat: kids arriving in my office anxious, depressed, disengaged – not because something’s wrong with them, but because the system isn’t built for how humans actually learn and develop.

I know the research. I’ve read the studies on adolescent brain development, intrinsic motivation, mastery learning, social-emotional development. I’ve watched Finland succeed for decades using approaches we keep ignoring.

And then I watched my own three kids – Lo (Lotte), Xa (Xander), and Be (Benja) – start to hate school. Brilliant, curious, creative kids who thought learning was pointless.

Why Me? Why Now?

Because I’m a single mom who understands what families actually need. Because I’m a psychologist who knows the evidence inside and out. Because I’m 51 and school looks exactly the same as when I was young – but the world has completely changed.

And because my kids deserve better. Your kids deserve better. All kids deserve better.

This isn’t about building an elite school for privileged families. It’s about proving a model that works and giving it away – like Sweden did with seatbelts.

I want governments to adopt this. I want every child, everywhere, to have access to education that honors who they actually are – their strengths, their pace, their humanity.

We’re all floating through space on this rock together. If we don’t fix education, we’re all at risk.

Education is the most powerful weapon we have to change the world. Let’s finally use it.
